The Chef’s Farmer


The Chef’s Farmer, founded by Jamie Swofford, is a talented chef turned farmer. After nearly two decades in the kitchen working his way up the culinary ladder at some of Charlotte’s top restaurants, Jamie had a yearning to know more about where the food they sourced was coming from. With his culinary skills and agricultural interest, Jamie moved home to Cleveland County and has been farming on his family’s property for the past few years. His brand, The Chef’s Farmer, delivers tailored, experimental and unique produce and edible flowers to a handful of Charlotte’s best chefs. In addition, The Chef’s Farmer makes locally sourced farmed and foraged drinking vinegars called Old North Shrub.

Mindful & Good was hired by The Chef’s Farmer as a design partner in helping to build the sustainable brand by creating a brand strategy, logo design, custom illustrations, stationery, packaging, marketing collateral and website to help elevate the high quality and boutique products that are meticulously grown and foraged by The Chef’s Farmer.
