Rachel Martin
Founder & Design Director of Mindful & Good
Recognized as one of the “100 Most Talented and Influential Creatives Working Today” by HOW Design Magazine, Rachel Martin is a designer with over 23 years of professional design experience. As an avid do-gooder and advocate for sustainability, Rachel believes designers have the power to lead the way in communicating the importance of positive social and environmentally responsible messages. She implements these values into her projects, the studio and everyday life.
Martin began her career in advertising at BBDO Worldwide in New York City where she designed campaigns with Bayer, Campbell’s, FedEx, PepsiCo and Visa. Before moving to Charlotte in 2007, she served as a senior designer and project manager for Louis Dreyfus, an international group of diversified businesses that is one of the largest privately held companies in the world.
She is the former AIGA National Director of The Living Principles for Design and served over 10 years on AIGA Charlotte’s executive board. She has also been a member of Design Can Change, UNESCO Social Design Network, Ladies of Letterpress, Piedmont Culinary Guild, U.S. Green Building Council and AIGA, the professional association for design, where she helped launch AIGA’s sustainability and “Design for Good” initiatives across the nation.
Martin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fine Arts & Graphic Design from Hofstra University and a certification in Advanced Design Thinking from IDEO.
Meg Seitz
Strategist, Writer, Founder & CEO of toth shop
An English major who went to business school, Meg Seitz is the Founder and CEO of toth shop – a creative and strategic content strategy and storytelling shop driven to tell good human stories for impact across marketing, branding, communications and public relations.
Madison Dixon
Freelance Senior Designer
Through Madison’s years of designing, she has found a fascination with understanding entrepreneurs’ and business owners’ stories, and visually bringing that story to life. She has a background and focus in brand identity, logo design, packaging and advertising. If you are passionate about what you do, she is passionate right there with you. She believes every project is an opportunity to create something meaningful and beautiful.
Rhonda Sergeant
Freelance Designer & Project Manager
Rhonda Sergeant is a transplant from the Midwest but has made her home in Charlotte since 2007. She started her career in publication design and became an Art Director for a lifestyle publication in Chicago. Rhonda is a freelancer specializing in print, publication, branding and collateral design. She is highly skilled in project management and has a laser-sharp focus for production design and cleaning up files.
Keia Mastrianni
Freelance Writer
Keia Mastrianni is a freelance writer and copywriter who has worked in the branding space for over a decade. She is an alumni of the Creative Circus in Atlanta, Georgia and focuses on food and beverage clients. She is an advocate for good food practices, area farmers and connecting local food systems. She is also a talented baker and the founder of Milk Glass Pie.
