Distillery 43 needed a distinctive brand identity and packaging that told their story of innovation and tradition. The challenge was to capture the essence of their handcrafted process, curated ingredients, and the founders’ shared vision of celebrating life’s moments—all while maintaining a clean, minimal aesthetic that resonated with their target audience.
Mindful & Good developed a brand identity and packaging design that emphasized simplicity and storytelling. The logo, featuring stalks of grain, symbolizes the four New England friends who founded the distillery, representing both their unity and the grain’s connection to abundance and life. Every design touchpoint reflected the distillery’s commitment to quality and sustainability, highlighting their use of local New England ingredients—from Simpson Springs water in South Easton, MA, to regionally grown botanicals and yeast strains.
The packaging design balanced modern minimalism with rustic warmth, incorporating natural textures and details that honored their artisanal, small-batch process. Sustainable materials were prioritized to align with the distillery’s values.
Since its launch, Distillery 43’s products have gained widespread acclaim, selling out with each limited-batch release across the Northeast. The branding not only resonated with consumers but also elevated the distillery’s reputation as a producer of distinctive yet unpretentious spirits, helping them build a loyal following and a strong presence in the competitive craft spirits market.
